I finally had had it with Gillette. $18 for 8 Mach 3 blades and I figured there's gotta be some way to make these blades last longer to save money. So I took a chance and bought this blade sharpener. Well it certainly does the job. When my blade gets dull, I cover the sharpener with a little foam (as per the instructions) then glide the blade on it four times and voila I'm back to about 80% as sharp as when I first used the blade. I've been using it for 4 weeks now and haven't had to change a blade - normally I get 2 weeks usage MAX out of a single blade.
